Phoenix Contact’s newest TRIO DC/DC converter accepts an extremely wide input range of 510 V DC to 1650 V DC and converts that voltage to a regulated 24 V DC. This high-voltage range makes it ideal for solar and railway applications, but the converter can be used anywhere that requires conversion of a high DC voltage to a stable 24 V DC output. An internal circuit within the robust metal housing provides resistance against electromagnetic interference. The DC/DC converter also features a high mean time between failure (MTBF), internal overvoltage protection circuitry, and a low output voltage ripple. To increase safety
