Aalberts integrated piping systems (IPS), a global leader in advanced integrated piping systems for the distribution and control of liquids and gasses, highlights its “Apollo”® top entry valve and actuation product line, engineered to meet the highest demands of performance, safety, and ease of maintenance in power generation applications. These products are ideal for isolating steam in high-pressure boiler systems, as well as for handling cooling water and condensate. They are also well-suited for turbine inlet and drain line shut-off applications, and feature emergency shut-off valves to enhance process safety.

With its simplified in-line service capability, the valve allows maintenance without removal from the pipeline, thereby streamlining operations and reducing downtime. Features such as self-adjusting seats maintain seal integrity automatically under varying pressure and wear conditions, while a blowout-proof stem prevents ejection under pressure, enhancing safety in high-risk environments.

The valve’s built-in antistatic feature mitigates the risk of static discharge in flammable conditions, increasing protection across a wide range of applications. A durable ISO 5211 mounting pad enables fast, reliable actuator mounting, providing a seamless path to system automation. Additionally, a standard five-year warranty underscores the product’s long-term performance and reliability.

Engineered for maximum versatility, the “Apollo”® top entry valve is available in a broad range of materials including Monel®, Hastelloy®, duplex, and stainless steel, making it ideal for highly corrosive or specialized conditions. It offers multiple seal options such as ceramic, PEEK, and graphite, and is rated for Class 150, 300, and 600 pressure levels. With sizes ranging from ½” to 12” and a full selection of end connections including NPT, socket weld, butt weld, and flanged configurations, the product line ensures compatibility across a wide variety of piping systems.

The “Apollo”® actuation product line complements the valve series with dependable, precision-driven automation technology. Designed for ease of integration and long-term reliability, these actuators support everything from basic manual override functions to fully remote automated control systems, enhancing operational efficiency across industries. Both lines conform to the strictest industry standards including ASME, API, MSS, and NACE, ensuring consistent performance and peace of mind.

Aalberts integrated piping systems proudly manufactures over 90% of its “Apollo”® Valves in the USA

at three facilities in South Carolina, continuing a legacy that began in Detroit in 1928. These valves, made

from high-quality bronze, brass, carbon steel, and stainless steel, come with a 5-year warranty. At the

foundry in Conway, SC, skilled employees produce customized, high-performance valves with rigorous

material testing and efficient lead times. This American manufacturing base ensures superior quality, cost

efficiency, and fast delivery.
