Insulating Battery Pull Tabs from Keystone Electronics

Keystone Insulating Pull Tabs for Coin Cell and Cylindrical Batteries are designed to protect batteries and circuitry from energizing during shipping and storage. These insulating pull tabs are installed in a battery compartment/holder, along with the batteries to insulate/prevent them from energizing prior to use. Simply pull the tab out from under the battery contact to activate. Clear labeling and arrows on these pull tabs simplify removal.

Pull Tabs are manufactured from strong, flexible polyester so the insulator can be pulled from a battery compartment even if the compartment is closed. Available in 3 styles to accommodate a variety of both coin cell and cylindrical battery sizes. Supplied in 1,000 piece reels and available from Keystone's global distribution network and online.

Green Cubes Announces Family of 48 Volt Lithium-Ion Battery Backup Units for Telecom and Data Center Market

Solid-state lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries with inorganic solid electrolytes hold a key position in the booming developments to get safer Li-ion batteries with higher energy density and fast charging capability for electric and hybrid electric vehicles (EV/HEV). In a solid-state battery, the flammable liquid-electrolyte used in conventional Li-ion battery is replaced by a solid-state electrolyte, which results in greater safety and enhanced battery characteristics. Solid-state batteries can be classified into two categories: thin-film solid-state batteries with a small-energy capacity, already commercially available and aimed at applications in consumer electronics, and "bulk" solid-state batteries with large-energy capacity for EV/HEVs.
