Lithium Werks to Sell Nanophosphate Cathode Powder to Lithium Battery Producers
Lithium Werks is pleased to announce that effective immediately, they are now selling their patented and proprietary, world leading Nanophosphate powder. This technology was originally developed by MIT, and then first commercialized by A123 Systems, Inc. Lithium Werks has acquired rights to the game-changing, cobalt-free cathode material and is now willing to sell this leading LFP powder to lithium ion battery producers. While other battery companies are currently trying to reduce the amount of cobalt in their lithium ion batteries, Lithium Werks has succeeded in eliminating not only cobalt, but the expensive and heavy metal nickel.

Teleport Battery System to Mend Micro-Mobility Mayhem
"The harsh treatment that shared escooter and ebike batteries receive is the cause of more than half of life-cycle emissions of the industry," says Simon Fellin, CEO of Teleport Mobility AB, a Swedish startup whose founding team boasts almost 100 years of experience from the transportation and mobility sector. He adds: "Battery pack production accounts for about one third, or approx 60 kg CO2- eq (median of 118.5 CO2- eq/kWh - ICCT 2018*) of the total production emissions of a shared vehicle."
