CEP Technologies Corp. has launched a new website for manufacturers that need custom miniature to small progressive stampings. Streamlined navigation makes the site easy to access for automotive OEMs. The site is also designed to support a diverse group of industries that range from telecommunications, consumer goods and EMI/RFI shielding to electrical switches, medical devices, battery contacts, power protection and oil and gas and market spaces in between.

The IATF 16949:2016 certified medium to high-volume stamper can design and fabricate progressive tooling for complex parts based on CAD, DXF, DWG or STP file formats. CEP’s prototyping services can test part design concepts, make material selections and conduct low volume production runs. Visitors can also view the stamper’s additional quality certifications, policies and objectives.

“Tightening dimensions for an expanding number of parts and devices is a trend that is continuing to gain momentum,” says CEP President Ken Kaufmann Jr. “Whether it’s a custom shielding product or press fit pins for a PC board.  Our in-house engineering team is equipped to act as a mobile arm for customers while our ability to support localized sourcing efforts reduces lead time and inventory costs.”

Unlike other progressive stampers, CEP also performs custom metal-cleaning applications. CEP’s new website, www.ceptech.net provides a platform for fast facts. The company plans to continue adding information resources while keeping navigation intuitive.
